Your swing is consistent – video analysis proves that – it’s your results that are inconsistent.  If you don’t use the club the way it’s designed to be used, then you have to rely on TIMING to produce a decent shot. Timing to square the clubface. Timing to find the center of the clubface. Timing is elusive – it comes and goes. Most of us don’t have enough time to practice or play to hone our timing.
Each month I will cover an aspect of the game that will improve your consistency.  Regardless of the level of player it’s my belief that I can use the same concepts to give a golf lesson.  This is called “The Swing Map” developed by Dennis Pugh.  The golf swing is a motion that has two basics – grip and posture (setup), and three fundamentals – balance, plane and leverage.  It’s my belief that golf lessons should address these six key areas.

Look for next month’s Newsletter – we will start with Posture.  Let’s “Hang the Swing Set” consistently to make the swing behave.
